Chesapeake Eggstravaganza – April 11 Chesapeake Park
This yearly celebration for children under 8 takes place at Chesapeake City Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Start with pony rides or have your face painted before participating in one of two family egg hunts. Once you’ve gathered your eggs, Peter Cottontail will be there for hugs and photos.

FREE Ongoing Activities: Inflatables, Pony Rides, Face Painting, Waddler-Toddler Play Area, Farm Animals, Craft Stations, and “Chessie” the Parks, Recreation and Tourism’s mascot bear!
Schedule of Events:
10:15 am – 1 pm: Pictures with Peter Cottontail (bring own camera)
11:00 am: Family Egg Hunt – children 8 years of age and younger with green wristbands
12:15 pm: Family Egg Hunt – children 8 years of age and younger with pink wristbands
